Dressage:
* Dressage seat firmly established
* Walk, trot, canter without stirrups
* Half-halts at canter
* Balanced upward and downward transitions
* Aids: Horses consistently on the bit
* Aids: Leg yield form the centerline to track and back at walk and trot
* Aids: Letting the horse “chew the reins out” at the trot
* Lengthened stride at trot
* Ability to ride USEF Training level test 3
Jumping:
* Cantering at speed (200 & 250 meters/minute)
* Hand gallop
* Single verticals to 2′-6″; spreads and grids to 2′-3″
* Trot in and out of vertical to 2′-6″
* Single cross-country fences to 2′-6″
* Small courses to 2′-3″ (trot without cantering and canter without trotting)
