  • Whilst at Reddemeade I had lessons with Steve Young and Jessica Schaberg both of whom were exceptionally supportive of my foray back into horse riding in my mid thirties after a break of more than 15 years. Ê. . . [T]hank[s to] Steve and Jessica and the rest of the team at Reddmeade for helping me to get my confidence back.

  • I LOVE Reddemeade - I'm taking lessons [from] Christine, she's really awesome in the adult class.

  • I hope all is well at Reddemeade. I haven't been able to find a place yet up here in New York quite like what you guys have... I miss it!

  • It was great to be back at the barn on Sunday. It was as if I'd never been gone. I just picked up the conversations where I left off. It's nice to have that kind of "family" and good friends to be with. You run a truly great barn!

  • I recommended that one of my friends send her daughter to Reddemeade's summer camp and she called the other day to tell me how overwhelmed she was by the positive experience her daughter had while at Reddemeade. Just wanted to let you know!

  • I love the opportunity to take Equishare horses to shows... it's a great experience every time! Jess was an incredible coach - as always. She did a phenomenal job of balancing all our ride times and making sure she was there for all of us!

  • My daughter' experience at Reddemeade was very enjoyable. We loved the atmosphere, horses and especially the staff. The only problem was it was just too much of a hike for us . . .. The only suggestion I could possibly have is ... could you simply move it a bit closer?

  • I love coming out to the barn because I know that everyone there, especially the instructors, is always so friendly and nice!

  • I am really going to miss my friends (both two and four footed) at Reddemeade! I am currently looking for a riding stable here in Charlotte . . . but they all have a tough standard to measure up to!! Although I was there only a few months, I have certainly taken away so much from the lessons by your most talented team of instructors!! I will certainly miss my lessons with Steve and Melissa!

  • I have been meaning to sit down and compose an email to you and the Reddemeade family. I wanted to express my deep gratitude. Although I am not necessarily a Hillary Clinton fan, I do think that the idea that it takes a village to raise a child is right on target. In [my daughter's] case, Reddemeade was the village that had an active hand in raising her, and in helping shepherd her through her teenage years. [She] began riding at Reddemeade at age 5, more than 13 years ago. Riding was an instant love that Reddemeade helped foster from the beginning. Horse riding gave [her] self confidence and a sense of responsibility that dealing with horses brings. Reddemeade also provided the opportunity for [her] to learn how to work, beginning with the work student program through being [her] first real employer. Most of all, Reddemeade was flexible enough to provide [her] the kind of environment she needed through her developing years. That is, a caring place in early child hood and the flexibility needed as she was trying to understand her self and how she fit in the world during her teenage years. But it was really the people at Reddemeade that helped [her] learn about her self and how to interact with other people. Although she has completed the natural breaking away that comes with growing up (a particularly difficult thing with someone as strong willed to set her own path as [she] had), Reddemeade as well as her family will always be a part of her. [Her mother] and I are extremely grateful for the role that the Reddemeade community played.

  • My daughter Anna and my son Michael have both had their first lessons at Reddemeade and loved it. Anna actually would like to come a second day a week for the group lessons.

  • We are moving next week to N.J. so will, sadly, no longer get to participate in the wonderful array of lessons and activities Reddemeade offers. Thank you for a superb year that has brought such joy to my daughter Sophie as she learned to ride.

  • I also wanted to thank you for the program you have there. Heather has done so well and we have seen so much improvement year after year. I will continue to recommend Reddemeade to anyone looking to take lessons. We also wanted to extend our thanks Mary, Melissa, Steve, Mary Ann and the other instructors that Heather has had the luxury to work with over the years. They have done a wonderful job!

  • It will be very difficult to find another barn anywhere as good and yet fun as Reddemeade is. If we're ever lucky enough to be transferred back, I will certainly be back!

  • I have been doing my research. You should be proud. I have heard nothing but good things about Reddemeade Farm.
