Important Notice to Competitors

As recommended by the MD Department of Agriculture following the recent outbreaks of Equine Herpes Virus, we are asking all competitors and spectators to observe the following precautions:

Visiting people:

If you have been in contact with horses at other locations in at any time in the last 3 weeks: Please do not handle our horses, feed them treats or enter their stalls, unless you have 1) washed your hands and 2) washed or disinfected your outer clothing and shoes between that contact at another location and your visit here.

Visiting Horses:

• Please do not allow your horse to come in face to face contact with our horses. Recommended separation is 35 feet.
• Please do not bring your horse into the stabling areas or pastures other than the designated parking and jumping fields.
• Please bring and use your own feed and water buckets, and do not allow your horse to drink from our water troughs.
• Please bring hay for your horse, and do not hand graze.
• Please do not sweep out your trailer onto the parking area/field.
